Every great idea begins with a spark — and for us, that spark came from watching children discover the world around them. The way they marvel at a pine cone, giggle while feeling the texture of moss, or whisper secrets to a tiny bug… it reminded us that the best kind of learning doesn’t always happen at a table. It happens outside, rooted in Nature.

That’s where Naturehood by Milestones was born.

Rooted in Connection

We started Naturehood with a simple goal: to help teachers and caregivers bring more outdoor wonder and natural learning into their classrooms and homes. We wanted to make it easy — and beautiful — for educators to access meaningful materials that inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection with the earth.

Our printable curriculum and seasonal boxes are thoughtfully designed to support early learners of all ages. Whether it’s for our Little Learners (ages 0–2), Early Explorers (ages 3–5), or programs that reach across multiple age groups, each unit is created to spark discovery through nature play, sensory exploration, and imagination.
